It is unfortunate that we don't tell our managers how well they are managing a team.
Before reporting to Penny, I worked juxtapose with her when she was the Government Relations Manager. After she was promoted to Senior Manager, Penny has shown a sincere interest in every employee that has work under her during her tenure. In addition to enforcing the company policies and values without creating a negative reaction from her team, I can personally attest that Penny has been a great leader to report to. Her honesty and passion has is always reflected in everything she does. One example is our current Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) for the NLH External Affairs Department. Penny led the charge to help to develop the procedures while also gathering input from her team. She directed the process and gave way to the vision that produced our operating procedures for internal facing communications as well as external communications format that is currently used. Thanks Penny for being such a great example!
